Corsages and Boutonniere Workshops
Boutonnieres and corsages. These floral decorations have been widely used in wedding ceremonies and gala nights. They originated from the French words for buttonholes and bouquet de corsage respectively. The boutonnieres are worn by men on their lapel. Usually, the groom and his best men will wear it during a wedding. However, nowadays, every male guest is welcome to don this special piece of accessory to spice up the atmosphere in the house. The corsage is a bundle of specially selected flowers pinned to the lapel of the woman’s clothing or tied around her wrist. Similarly, corsages were only meant for the bride and her bridal party but now, female guests can wear it.
